Print Project
For this project we had the option to do one of four things. I could have made a toothbrush holder, a coin holder, a ear bud holder, or a phone stand. I decided to make a ear bud holder because mine always get into big knots so I knew when I made it I would use it a lot.
Prework
For this project I did a small amount of prework leading up to designing my ear bud holder on inventor. I first starting looking at ideas on Thingiverse, I found the design with the fish as the headphone holder. I then had to find out some measurements of a headphone cord. I found out that the diameter of the cord is around .1 in.
Completion
Once I knew the plan for the project it was time for me to start designing the project on inventor. I had to work with many different types of lines and arcs it took me a while to complete. Once I was done designing and extruding the project I had to convert the file to an stl file and move it to Maker Bot. Once on Maker Bot I was able to make the file to scale and was able to preview my print. Lastly I took it down and put it in the 3d printer.

Completion
In conclusion I definitely learned a lot through this project. I had to use many resources and tools to complete it. This project I think was the coolest because I knew that I would use it a lot once I was finished with it so I was excited to complete it. Also during this project I got to see more of the inventor site and use different types of lines and extrusions that I haven't used before.
